We're pleased to share the latest CYG newsletter which showcases the many activities and initiatives conducted by CYG members over the last few months.

Many thanks to the coordination team members Tom and Cristopher for publishing this new edition and to all of you for your impressive work and activities!

CENESS-CYG Research Fellowship

In September, the CYG launched the first CYG Research Fellowship, in partnership with the Center for Energy and Security Studies (CENESS). Over the course of four months (September - December), the CYG Research Fellows were invited to attend a webinar series lectured by prominent experts and diplomats, to conduct research on CTBT, nonproliferation and disarmament issues, and to engage with distinguished scholars and practitioners.

The closing session on 17 December will mark the end of the Fellowship, and will enable the participants to present the highlights from their work that focused on strategies for CTBT universalization and entry into force.

In addition, we are extremely happy to announce that during the closing session on Friday, 17 December at 15:00-16:00 CET, the Executive Secretary of the CTBTO Dr. Robert Floyd and the UN Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs, Ms Izumi Nakamitsu will give their remarks alongside the research groups that will present their final findings.

You can join the discussion and share your questions and comments by registering by Tuesday 14 December!
