It has been FOUR years since the launch of the “CTBTO Youth Group” (CYG) and significant progress has already been made through this exciting initiative.
Today’s youth are crucial to help end nuclear testing once and for all. In the past years over 800 young people have added a fresh and unstoppable voice to advancing the The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization’s (CTBT) entry into force. The Youth Group has boosted the discourse on the CTBT among academia, students, civil society, and media, have built a basis for knowledge transfer to their peers, and have been active in promoting the CTBT via social media to reach and engage with new audiences.
