As suggested by Ryan, I'm starting this thread as a means for the Youth Group members who will be attending AGU in a few weeks to communicate! If you are not coming, feel free to ignore (or to chip in if you have any ideas :) !) . Hopefully we can use this forum to coordinate, make sure that we are all on the same page, and to address any concerns or questions that anybody might have.
To start us off, please find below a link to a google spreadsheet I've created just so that we can share some basic information. The spreadsheet contains 2 tabs:
1) Logistical Information
This tab is meant as a central location for contact and logistical information to get us organized.
I've included some fields such as your dates and times of arrival and departure, whether you have housing already (and if so, where), and whether you are looking for someone to room with. We can use this information to coordinate roommate situations and transportation to and from the airport. If everyone could please fill this out as soon as possible, it would be very helpful!
I'll be in contact as needed based on your responses to help coordinate housing!
Once everyone fills out the form, we could also start a GroupMe to communicate via text message as Pierrick suggested!
2) Booth Sign-up
This tab contains a sign-up sheet for manning the booth. I've basically just copied the sign-up sheet Pierrick sent, with half hour shifts. I've put two openings for each time slot. Ideally we will be able to have two youth group members at the booth at all times, but let's at least make sure we have one person for each time slot! Also, I'm sure that we can have more than two people per time slot, so this doesn't mean that you are barred from manning the booth at a given time if two other people have signed up. I just want to make sure that we have someone responsible for being there at all times. I've already filled out some times that I know I can man the booth (although I can add more or switch with others as needed).
